How can I rent an Enterprise Rental Car?
The Public Safety/Transportation department has requirements for employee, staff, and student drivers with respect to Enterprise rentals, see the student rental policy and the Transportation website first before renting.
An employee driving on College business must comply with the College’s Transportation Policy and Procedures found at Public Safety and Parking’s website https://publicsafety.lafayette.edu/parking/. When needed and in compliance with the stipulations of the Transportation Policy, employees should rent a car for Lafayette business through our preferred provider, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, by calling 610-253-7599 (the local Easton office), or booking on-line at the link below.
Click on the link below to go to the Enterprise site for online rentals. You must be signed in with your Lafayette access. This is a secure link. Once on Enterprise’s website, it will apply the appropriate business and personal discounts for a Lafayette employee or student. We no longer provide contract numbers on the website to prevent fraudulent rentals.
Advantages for Lafayette renters include “Best Rate”. The Best rate is automatically extended with no loss of driver protection benefits. Driver protection benefits on business rentals include Damage Waiver and liability protection, and free Emerald Club enrollment. DO NOT BOOK any “daily specials”, etc. , as loss of the CDW and liability protection increases risk and possible additional expenses for the college. More information on renting a car can be found here: Enterprise Car Rentals
